Additional information

<28> This paper, presents a method for reconstructing neural stimuli. This is important in understanding causes for MND and identifying the specific neuron and the corresponding pathway which is probably deteriorating and so not functioning properly. This paper presents a numerical solution to reconstruct stimuli from neural responses while retrieving the neural dynamics. The results show that the reconstructed stimulus is a good approximation of the original stimulus, while the retrieved the neural dynamics, help to understand the changes in neural biochemistry. A best paper award was given when preliminary results were presented at World Congress of Engineering 2010.
