<10> The paper presents the results of international collaboration with researchers in China, Macau and the UK, with funding from all three countries. It provides a rigorous treatment of the consistency between the operational and algebraic semantics of a formal language that includes concurrency, time, and probability features, establishing the soundness of the operational semantics with respect to the algebraic semantics. The theoretical approach has been validated practically using the logic programming language Prolog to animate the semantics. The approach may be used as an example for exploring and understand further programming language features.
