Caracterización textural y mecánica de geles C-S-H formados en la hidratación de muestras sintéticas T1-C<sub>3</sub>S, β-C<sub>2</sub>S y sus mezclas
This study was part of the EU FP7 CODICE project (Project Number 214030, 2008-11), which Dr Zhu was one of the Principal Investigators and led the work on micro/nano-mechanical characterisation of innovative cementitious materials. The findings were the first in its kind, and other major results still to be published in peer-reviewed journals, have been reported in the CODICE project reports/deliverables, and in 5 high quality conference papers and 2 Invited/keynote presentations at International Workshops. The research also led to a subsequent industry-funded collaborative research project: Nanoindentation of Cementitious Systems, 2012 (£34k, Contract Ref: FS 40886, BASF SE, Germany).
