Double-weighted statement

This long and dense study offers a full analysis of a sizeable portion of a complex work, ranging from textual and linguistic matters to interpretation of Cicero’s arguments on multiple sub-topics, as informed by the complex cultural background. Some sub-topics involve particularly complex rhetorical and philosophical concepts. The commentary itself required the collection and analysis of a considerable body of diverse material, as did some of the interpretative analyses. Wisse’s contribution amounted to 70% plus editorial responsibility.
