Additional information

As part of research on condition monitoring of erosion due to impact of fluid-suspended solid particles, this work develops a model describing the acoustic emission (AE) time series signals associated with a particle stream. It accumulates the effect of incident particles, is based on observations of individual impacts, and can be extended to situations where the particle arrivals cannot be resolved.
