Electrically Addressed Dual Resonator Sensing Platform for Biochemical Detection
The paper describes a novel dual resonator sensing platform, wherein transduction and sensing are spatially separated onto different mechanically coupled resonators, allowing for easy fabrication and integration with on-chip electronics. This development addresses challenges in biological cell mass measurement and enables accurate cell counting, which consolidates the collaboration with Cambridge Institute of Medical Research (Dr Yi Li, ID_in_audit_file@cam.ac.uk). A UK patent is filed based on this work. The works links with top conference papers in Eurosensors-2010, IEEE-IFCS-2010, Biosensors, IEEE-IUS-2009, Transducers-2009. Embedded systems developed by Dr Yan achieved industrial support (GBP500k) in-kind from Groupstar.
