Additional information

This project pioneered an original approach to technology transfer, bringing designers to work with scientists. One of the project outputs (Moss Table) won the ‘public vote’ for inclusion in the 2012 Cambridge Design Icons exhibition. Design work has been exhibited at London Design Festival and was included in a 2012 British Council tour of East Asia and 2012 Milan Furniture Fair. This work has received significant press interest, with articles in (amongst others) Business Weekly, Catalyst magazine, Design Boom, R&D magazine, Wired and Research Horizons. Peralta (PhD student) has since taken a Senior Lecturer post at Brighton University.
