This chapter concludes a successful book and critically reviews the many research works on the use of AI techniques in software engineering and concluded by highlighting where future research efforts and the importance of developing this field. Ian Sommerville, who wrote the Forward stated that “This is an important book because it reflects the re-emergence of AI and SE as a valid and potentially very valuable research field”.
