Additional information

Angus was requested by the Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters to research and generate new regalia for the livery, which embodies reference to the traditional iconography of the trade while using the most advanced production technology to produce a figurative structure and assembly.

The Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters will be exhibiting the new regalia for their livery at the Mercers Hall in the City of London in October. The livery will subsequently be worn by the 'Master', the 'Underwarden' and the 'Overwarden' at the Lord Mayor's Show and at Westminster Abbey in November 2013 and for all future formal occasions.

Angus was given the opportunity to craft this permanent regalia in novel knitted structures, making reference to the historic iconography of the trade of Framework Knitter. Research was required into the appropriate symbols and an innovative creative interpretation for the regalia and these are documented and reside with the livery.
