<04>With energy efficiency one of the most stringent design requirements of wireless systems, energy harvesting is considered to be a prime mechanism to gather energy from the surroundings. A significant problem towards practical implementation however is the volatile availability of energy. Being one of the first transactions papers of this kind, this paper explores the ability to schedule in an optimal fashion stochastic data traffic given stochastic energy availability using a purely distributed and autonomous learning approach. This allows, for the first time, practical implementation of said mechanisms.
