Proof of Concept study to demonstrate a novel way of using patterned magnetic fields to manipulate nanowires into patterns without any lithography at all. Entire working field emission device created at ambient temperatures using very simple methods. Technique has great potential to develop a low cost fabrication technology for creation of nanowire device structures.
