The Colloquia of the Hermeneumata Pseudodositheanaa: volume 1 Colloquia Monacensia-Einsidlensia, Leidense-Stephani, and Stephani

This book includes critical editions of bilingual ancient texts, the creation of which necessitated reading more than a dozen medieval and Renaissance manuscripts in Greek and Latin. I had to learn how to read all the various scripts involved, learn how to edit a text, travel to eleven libraries in six countries, and collate a vast number of variants. I also translated the texts for the first time and produced lengthy commentaries on them. The commentaries required me to learn about a considerable number of topics in ancient social history that, as a linguist, I had previously been unfamiliar with.
