Additional information

<05> This paper proposes a versatile and efficient methodology for modelling heterogeneous multimedia (video, voice and text) traffic and paves the way for developing cost-efficient analytical models of multi-service wireless networks. This original analytical model can efficiently quantify the important Quality-of-Service measures including the system throughput, end-to-end delay, and frame loss probability. This important and solid work helped the authors to trigger an EU FP7 grant to investigate and enhance the Quality-of-Experience for mobile multimedia across heterogeneous wireless networks.
