Additional information

The significance of this work is the use of a polymer rim to support the radiation patch and an aperture coupled design to produce a novel patch antenna for high efficiency wideband operation for practical applications in mobile devices, and sensing and radar systems. The bandwidth of the aperture coupled device is twice as much as that of the previous work and four times of the bandwidth of the conventional patch antenna.
