Additional information
Introduced a novel technique for efficient image retrieval. Its application in forensic images led to a large EU grant led by paper co-author (FP7 IP Lasie, starting 01.01.14), worth over £0.5M for the MMV group. Its application in histo-pathological image retrieval led to an on-going collaborative research with Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden (Carlos Fernández Moro: carlos.fernandez.moro@ki.se).
