Additional information

This work resulted from an EPSRC grant (EP/H048154/1, £120k) concluded in 2011. It has led to invited talks at EuCAP 2011 and the International Conference on Wireless Mobile Communication and Healthcare 2012. The paper contributed to a chapter in the 2nd edition book by Hall and Hao (ISBN-13:978-1-60807-376-4) 'Antennas and Propagation for Body-Centric Wireless Networks' (2012). Work also resulted in industrial collaboration with Shadow Robot (Rich Walker, rw@shadowrobot.com) leading to a TSB grant (TSB/L000237/1, £150k, July 2013) for 3D location of human hand and arm using pulsed UWB ranging for mimicking robot arm movement.
