Additional information

This described a novel real-time technique to reduce leakage and interference in convolutive mixtures. It was shown to significantly outperform convolutive blind source separation methods using established objective and perceptual metrics, and can be used with any multiple source, multiple microphone configuration. It led to a major advance in source separation research, since it showed an effective technique for use in live sound under realistic conditions. Method licensed to and exploited by Tandemlaunch(Helge Seetzen, CEO, helge.seetzen@tandemlaunchtech.com), and related live sound source separation developed by Dr. Reiss was licensed to Fraunhofer (Juergen Herre, IIS Chief Scientist, hrr@iis.fraunhofer.de).
