Additional information

<01> Originality: An analytical framework to predict latency for wormhole-routed interconnect architectures exploiting a traffic prioritization mechanism to achieve differentiated services-based QoS is presented; the first of its kind. The method has been applied on the Spidergon NoC.

Significance: Published in “Interconnection Networks”, a leading journal in this field. A companion paper on this work has been the winner of the highly commended paper award from the AINA’08. Rigor: The model is validated using simulation. The method has been extended and used later in some subsequent papers, collaborating with the same team from Glasgow University.
