A methodology was developed to define, by simulating aircraft manoeuvres in computational fluid dynamics, the limits of the widely used aerodynamic tabular model for flight dynamics analysis. The demonstration of the ability to build and test aircraft aerodynamic tabular models led to EPSRC funding for the investigation of aircraft flexibility on flight control (EP/I014594/1 - evidence file Badcock4-1.pdf).
