Additional information

In this letter and for the first time, system theory (used in communications and control engineering) is applied to predict and estimate the 'bandwidth' of the transients in any thermally activated chemical reaction. The general applicability of the theory enables the design and engineering of a wide range of functional materials and devices (fast switching memory devices used as an example), and facilitates the simulation of such of materials quickly and efficiently.
