Double-weighted statement

The Economics of Hate is a work of extended scale and scope, as there is no prior work on hate in the economic literature, indeed little work on the economics of emotion. This necessitated the dedication of considerable research time in terms of integrating existing economic research on Wicca (chapters 6 & 7) and homophobia (chapter 7) with original research by Cameron that extends these discussions into areas totally neglected by economics, such as hatred of specific groups and, conversely, peace (chapter 8). The book is therefore a substantial contribution in its field.
