Additional information

<24> This paper shows the link between experimental research and computational/robotics modelling. Four experiments investigated whether different acquisition modalities lead to the emergence of differences found between concrete and abstract words. These results are now being modelled with the iCub platform, in collaboration with Borghi’s experimental psychology lab in Bologna, through the University of Plymouth’s award of an early career PhD studentship to Dr Marocco.
