<12> The output resulted from a project in collaboration with Harbin Institute of Technology. The research achieved successful outcomes applied in a water distribution network in China, for a water utility company. This paper investigates the self-organizing map, K-means clustering and fuzzy c-mean clustering applied to water quality evaluation in large distribution networks. The developed intelligent system for comprehensive water quality evaluation is of significance for water quality monitoring, and water network rehabilitation and expansion by an existing water utility company in China.
