Additional information

For the first time a thermal heatsink model is presented. This makes the modelling of the 3D system more accurate (like finite element models) but with an analytic solution based on Fourier series. This means that chips within a power module can interact thermally. This model has been of great interest to industry and results have been used by Toyota in their 3rd generation power module design (Kimimori Hamada hamada@kimimori.tec.toyota.co.jp)
