In dust affected areas it is currently not possible to carry out due diligence on proposed new PV installations thus funding is difficult. This is improved with the method presented in the paper. Industrial uptake of the measurements by GE Global and further project funding (£5k, confirmation by Oliver Mayer, oliver.mayer@research.ge.com).
