<22>To design negotiation strategies requires substantial human expertise and effort especially for complicated problems. To overcome such a constraint, this work deploys computational intelligence to automate the design of negotiation strategies. This new approach generates cost effective and and dynamically adaptive favoured strategies for complicated scenarios, which are unsolvable by the conventional analytic methods. This has led to further collaborative work with Prof Kwang Mong Sim, University of Kent. The work has been partly used by a PhD programme funded by EPSRC (EP/P563361/0).
