<22> This paper presents a novel and fast approach to compute empowerment in continuous domains. The method described here is used for actual robot control as part of an FP7 research project (CORBYS) as a cognitive control framework for robotic systems. Based on this paper Christoph Salge gave two invited talks at workshops (GSO 2012 in Sydney and IROS 2012 in Villamora). Several additional works based on this method have been published or are in preparation to be published.
