Additional information
<22>This research has influenced work on visual feature matching, including at world leading labs (Microsoft and Google); for example, it is referenced by the paper "Descriptor Learning for Efficient Retrieval" (Philbin 2010), which has been very influential on visual matching in the academic Computer Vision community as well as Google. The dataset created in this work has been directly used by several other works (such as Simonyan ECCV 2012). It is cited by Calonder et al (2010), which led to a new field of work in the optimal design of binary features.
