Additional information

This paper describes the first demonstration of advanced liquid metal electrode technology used in the generation of micro-fluidic discharge devices. This work was a collaboration with the Ian Wark Institute (University of South Australia). The work led to the development of a future generation of photo mask defined micro plasma jets and was instrumental in securing a recent EPSRC grant [EP/I028722/1 “Micro-PADI sources for applications in 2-D chemical imaging”].
