<11> Intelligent support for policy- and decision-making in medicine is not new, but often proposals lack rigour or a sound medical basis. Our approach is to propose a logical language that is tailored to the needs of representing and reasoning with the results of clinical trials and studies. This work has been done in collaboration with NHS doctors and reports on a framework that aims to aid navigating and aggregating the wealth of, often conflicting, clinical trial results on treatment efficacy.
