Additional information

<02> This paper was published in the Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Tangible and Embedded Interaction and described a project that was part of the “Material Beliefs” project, funded by the EPSRC (EP/E035051/1). The project brought together a network of designers, engineers, scientists and social scientists to explore potential implications of emerging biomedical and cybernetic technologies. The collaboration produced speculative objects, exhibitions and debates that moved scientific research out of laboratories into public spaces. The output of the project was exhibited in multiple locations (The Royal Institution, Kinetica Art Fair, Laboral in Spain, etc) with thousands of public visitors.
