Additional information

<06> This paper proposed, analysed and verified a novel device authentication protocol to support users and their trust relationships with devices especially in the context of secure transactions. The protocol was modelled, analysed and verified against a number of desired security properties using formal methods approach based on Casper/FDR compiler (TrustCom 2012). The work formed core of M Aiash’s successfully completed PhD work and has resulted in follow on publications on a formally verified AKA Protocol (EURASIP 2012).
