Constraint rule-based programming of norms for electronic institutions
<22>The paper integrates and expands a series of conference (AAMAS06) and workshop (COIN06, DALT06) papers, and an earlier journal publication (ACM SIGEcom Exchanges, Vol. 5, Issue 5, Jan. 2006, pages 33-40), the semantics of our formalism has been refined and the approach is amply illustrated with practical scenarios, as well as comprehensively contrasted with alternative approaches . This is the most prestigious journal in multiagent systems. The research has shaped the agenda and scope of the EU-funded COST Action on Agreement Technologies (http://www.agreement-technologies.eu), and influenced the design of EIDE: Electronic Institutions Development Environment (http://e-institutions.iiia.csic.es/eide/pub/, used for teaching/training and research/development.
