Additional information

This research broke new ground for state-of-the-art of techniques used for improving numerical stability and computational complexity of RLS algorithms in adaptive IIR filters. Due to this, it was taken up by one of the leading scientists in adaptive systems, Prof. Ioan Dore Landau, as the primary reference for one of his doctoral student projects in the GIPSA Lab, Grenoble, France, and led to a follow on collaboration to design, evaluate and compare the available active noise and vibration control schemes on a benchmark experimental set up located in their laboratory (http://www.gipsa-lab.grenoble-inp.fr/~ioandore.landau/benchmark_adaptive_regulation/).
