Additional information

This paper demonstrated that the two-phase xenon technique is capable of better discrimination between electron and nuclear recoils at low-energy than previously achieved, with attendant world-competitive sensitivity to WIMPs. Ghag was one of the core team responsible for virtually every aspect of the ZEPLIN-III experiment from construction, installation, exploitation and dissemination of results. He led the detector operations and data pipeline work packages. He led several key areas of analysis including calibrations, development of routines, background estimations, and Monte Carlo simulations.
