Additional information

<13> Defines and illustrates a methodology for finding product-forms in a significant, hierarchcical class of Petri-nets, a problem which has hitherto only been solved by direct non-constructive methods. The key advance is that the method is incremental and can be mechanised in software. It is joint with coauthors from Universita Ca'Foscari Venice, and has led to the EPSRC funded project APROPOS -- Approximate product-forms and reversed processes for performance analysis (EP/I030921/1).
