This paper has benefited higher education practices in the Architecture, Built Environment and Planning subject area. This paper contributes towards curriculum development and employability aspects of undergraduate construction management courses. The paper analyses perception of skills of current graduates from the Chartered Institute of Buildings (CIOB) accredited course, explores practicable methods of increasing skills levels of graduates and the possible ways of integration of graduates into the construction industry, and recommends areas of improvement, if any, to the CIOB educational framework. This paper has been cited in a similar study conducted in South Africa.
