Additional information

Claire Monk’s contribution to this paper was significant and is reflected in the fact that she is first author. The paper brings together research from fairly disparate research programmes into bullying; from bullying in schools, to the home/care-homes, to workplaces and prisons. Claire Monks co-ordinated the paper, bringing together the work of her co-authors and examining the differences and commonalities. She also explored the theoretical contributions made by research from the different research traditions and proposed that approaches which integrate theory from different research backgrounds may be beneficial to furthering understanding of this phenomenon.
