Additional information

Convergent Photography is the term that I use to describe the way in which I combine immersive environments, sonic-visual real-time animation, performance and fashion to produce new media photomontage.

In 2013 I was invited to exhibit a selection of Convergent Photography in the Cameron Museum & Galleries, the former home of the Victorian pioneer photographer, Julia Margaret Cameron. Its mission is to advance the public understanding of Julia Margaret Cameron’s work, in the context of the history of early photography, whilst at the same time promoting the practice and appreciation of contemporary photography. Several of the photographs in my exhibition drew on visual and narrative elements found in Cameron’s work, particularly those relating to emotional expression and tableau vivant.
