Additional information

This paper investigates output feedback control of discrete-time systems with interval time-varying delay using the free-weighting matrix approach, which was proposed by the authors. The paper outcome, which is better than the existing methods, has widely been used in control systems, e.g., the world-leading group in delay systems led by James Lam (IEEE Fellow, EiC of IET-CAT) applied it to solve the output feedback stabilization problem. The paper has generated significant interest in the scientific community. This work has led to further research published in Automatica and the IEEE Trans. Automatic Control, which are two leading journals in control systems.
