Additional information

This paper demonstrates the ability to directly jet living biological organisms, which have the ability to morph from a unicellular to multicellular states. The technology is under investigation in collaboration with Union Biometrica for the development of a sheathless flow cell technology for florescent activated cell sorting. This is currently underway with collaboration with Royal Holloway where we are actively pursuing this technology as a novel approach to diagnosing bipolar disorders to fully assessing organism health and accordingly sorting them. This published work was also featured on the front cover of the journal.
