Additional information

<12>This paper resolves the approximability status of combinatorial pricing problems, a class of revenue maximization problems. Our algorithm was used very recently by Chalermsook et al (arXiv:1202.2840) to deal with geometric pricing problems. Short, preliminary versions of our paper appeared in the proceedings of SODA-2007 and ICALP-2008. Neither was submitted to RAE 2008.
