SpaciMS: spatial and temporal operando resolution of reactions within catalytic monoliths
This work reports on an innovative technique that allows accessing 3D profiles of chemical reaction and temperatures within structured catalysts such as catalytic monolith. The technology reported in this work received and R&D 100 award in 2008. This works was selected for a presentation at the 6th International Conference on Environmental Catalysis, ANAKON 2011 and the 10th European Conference on Catalysis (EUROPACAT X) and recently contributed to the successful funding of a project by Toyota (contact Dr A. Mohammadi), two projects by Jaguar Land Rover (contact Dr K. Hansen) and a EU project (ATBEST project, contact Prof M. Larkin).
