Additional information

The paper demonstrates for the first time how the mounting geometry and wind can affect the performance of a photovoltaic panel, and how it is possible to achieve its maximum efficiency. The work underpinned the author's role leading the Simulation & Modelling work package of the EPSRC SUPERGEN project on Solar Energy (EP/K022156/1, £1.615M). It also led to invitations to join the Scientific Committees of two important International Conferences on Energy: ICERTSD-2013 (http://www.icertsd.com/) and Solar-2014 (http://www.omicsonline.org/).
