Additional information

f.The book presents material and arguments drawn from an archaeological resource assessment of English battlefields undertaken for English Heritage in which Morris was PI and Foard the Project Officer. Foard contributed extensive experience of fieldwork, landscape reconstruction and artefact analysis gained at Nasbey, Grafton Regis, Edgehill and Bosworth, results of experimental firing, knowledge gained through assessments of battlefields in Scotland and Ireland, and the methodology for battlefield study. Morris contributed to structure, to discussion of early medieval sources, religious commemoration, some particular sites, editorial shaping of the text and some (re)drafting.
