Additional information

Detailed comparison between natural visual response in the cortex and those induced by a microfabricated, photovoltaic implant. Evaluated over a 6-month period in vivo, a vital step towards clinical trials of the device. The work won the 2013 Pascal Rol Award for Best Paper on Ophthalmic Technologies at SPIE BiOS [http://spie.org/x91872.xml], the world’s largest international biomedical optics and imaging conference.
