Additional information

The impulsive noise in a substation is characterised experimentally with a view to assessing the electromagnetic compatibility of wireless communications technology with the electricity grid. The research was collaborative with and supported by Scottish Power plc [Senior Project Engineer, richard.rutherford@sppowersystems.com] and was partly progressed in conjunction with academic co-authoring colleagues from Brazil (University of Campina Grande).
