Additional information

This research models domestic μ-CHP (combined heat and power), providing detailed simulation of the combined performance of devices and dwellings and supporting modelling of highly distributed power systems. This invited paper is included in a special issue journal edited by Strathclyde/Bath members [10.1177/095765090822200701] of the SUPERGEN HiDEF consortium. In collaboration with Natural Resources Canada [http://www.nrcan.gc.ca/home, Evgueniy.Entchev@NRCan-RNCan.gc.ca], the authors disseminated the special issue results by organising a special session at the 1st International Conference and Workshop on Micro-cogeneration Technologies and Applications, and subsequently organised Microgen’11 [http://microgen11.supergen-hidef.org/] from which a further HiDEF/IEA special issue was published with international [10.1177/0957650912468778] co-authorship .
