This research analysed green light generation for projection applications. It influenced Samsung’s product-orientated research [Kim, taek@sait.samsung.co.kr], evidenced by joint authorship with Samsung staff and the publication of seven papers by the Samsung team in this area. Publication of this output was delayed until the end of the research contract with Samsung. This work also featured in an invited book chapter ("Semiconductor Disk Lasers" Ed. Okhotnikov, Wiley, 2010).
