Additional information

The work describes a new process for producing nano/ultral fine intermetalics/ high performance ceramics and coatings to improve wear and oxidation resistance for industry applications. The new ignition technique can be used to produce intermetallic and composite coatings. The results show that induction heating is different from other ignition processes in that NiAl is the only synthesized product.
